2019 Reeder’s Alley Block Party Community Fundraiser Event

We had a great time hosting the 5th Annual Reeder’s Alley Block Party this year and are thankful that so many people came out to enjoy the festivities despite the persnickety weather!  A celebration of community & ideas (and, of course, one of Helena’s most beloved historic sites — Reeder’s Alley), our fun and festive block party fundraiser (which also served as the after party for this year’s Governor’s Cup race) was dog-friendly, kid-friendly, fun for all ages and featured:

  • Live Music
  • Montana Microbrews, Wine & Tasty Eats
  • A Local Youth/Adult Dance Act
  • Body Painting & Fire Dancing
  • Helena’s Playable Playgrounds
  • An Awesome Raffle
  • Tours of Pioneer Cabin
  • A Bubble Station
  • Lawn Games & Ping-Pong
  • Live drawings in the alley by local artist Tim Holmes
  • And more…

Huge thanks to Helena, our title sponsor (Montana Heritage Commission); our community partners, community sponsors, community supporters, and donors, our volunteers, vendors, entertainers, musicians & Reeder’s Alley! Check out thank you’s, video, press, and photos from the day below.

Celebrating Community & Ideas

Critical, creative thinking, reflection, and civil discourse are essential to the health and longevity of a community. And philosophical thinking and engagement plays an important part of this!  Our fundraiser event was about:

  • Celebrating Community & Ideas
  • Honoring History & Reeder’s Alley
  • Creating Environments that Encourage Intellectual Curiosity & Wonder
  • Encouraging the Exchange of Ideas & Civil Discourse

What Proceeds Helped to Support
