2019 Merlin Mailer Newsletter — A Year in Review

Happy February!   Is it seriously already 1 month (and three days) into 2020? Where does the time go?

Wait….where does the time go?  What is time?  Ok.  You see where this is going.  Down the rabbit hole we go!!  Weeee!!!!!  Philosophy is so much fun!!!

But…in a sense, this newsletter really is about time.  Since the day we first opened our doors (in the winter of 2016), this community, and our donors and grantors, have given us an abundance of time, energy, and love. You have joined us in many grand adventures down several rabbit holes. You have supported our vision and belief in the value of philosophy by showing up….time and time again.

And for this, we are humbled and eternally grateful to you!  You are an extraordinary community!

Our end-of year newsletters are our way of honoring and sharing “the joy that you are” and the joy you bring to us!  This year’s letter is an invitation to re-live some of the philosophical adventures of 2019, as well as an extended hand to join us on more rabbit hole adventures in 2020.

It features highlights from our 2019 philosophy in the community activities, some things we’ve been up to in (the field of) public philosophy, announcements and thank you’s, and things on the radar for 2020.  We had a great time putting it together and hope you enjoy the ride!

Thank you again for your generosity of spirit, your support, and for the opportunity to be of service. Long live philosophy!

With Kindness & Gratitude,
