Philosophy Read-In for Kids
August 3, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 7:45 pm MDT
FreeWe love reading and books that make you think! So…we decided to create our own version of a philosophy read-in (with stars!) indoors at The Reeder’s Alley Interpretive & Convention Center — a veritable eve with books under the stars and without the cars!
Our philosophy read-in’s are opportunities for kids to enjoy listening to featured stories aimed at getting their synapses firing, followed by a kid-inspired philosophical discussion. Light snacks provided. $5 suggested donation.
This month’s read-in will be structured for youth 6 years – 10 years in age (Grades 1-5) and will feature two books by Byrd Baylor called I’m in Charge of Celebrations & The Table Where Rich People Sit. Storytellers/Discussion Leaders: Russ Danaher & Marisa Diaz-Waian.
Doors open at 6:15pm/ storytelling starts at 6:30pm. Learn more, read the book synopses & reserve your seat for our philosophy read-in night!
