    In this mini-symposium in collaboration with Lewis & Lclark Library, and facilitated by community philosopher Marisa Diaz-Waian, we'll talk with guest panelists and authors Christopher Preston & Robert Frideman about growth policy and development, wildlife, and the environment. The symposium will be structured in a way that allows ample time for community Q & A, as well as an opportunity to mingle with the authors/scholars after the community conversation.     A storytelling event for youth that features heartwarming tales starring animals such as coyote, raven, wolf, and more. Weaving art, philosophy, history, science, and community together, our storytellers -- Louise Fischer & Shane Doyle -- will invite youth to imagine, wonder, question, and play, and learn more about indigenous perspectives on the enlightening & enchanting role of animals in our lives and collective history. And to make things extra special...given Halloween’s proximity, our story telling focus, and our love of play…we’re dressing up! And invite you to play along!
