Reeder’s Alley Block Party Fundraiser Generates $4,686 Value for Philosophy in the Community & Reeder’s Alley

Wow!  What an honor! We cannot express enough how much we love the Philosophy Learning & Teaching organization! For the 3rd year in a row, PLATO is awarding our organization a grant for our Philosophy in the Community program…and this year in the amount of $3,000. We are honored to have been selected by this amazing organization for three years in a row and are looking forward to providing the Helena & surrounding communities with a host of unique, fun & accessible opportunities to do “get their hands dirty with philosophy!”  Thank you so much, PLATO.

We are delighted to be presenting a hand-tailored version of our Montana Conversations program “Philosophy:  What Is It Good For?” and our Philosophy Think & Drink at Red Lodge Ales Brewing Company! Interactive and dynamic, this program is geared for community members of all ages interested in learning more about how philosophy can help enrich our lives and will specifically examine and apply philosophy (and biomimicry) to some of the environmental and conservation challenges in Yellowstone National Park and its surrounding areas.

Montana Conversations Philosophy Program at Bridges HCC: Navigating the Aging Process

We are delighted to be presenting a hand-tailored version of our Montana Conversations program “Philosophy:  What Is It Good For?” at Bridges Buffet! Interactive and dynamic, this program is geared for community members of all ages interested in learning more about how philosophy can help enrich our lives…and why it is good for “absolutely everything!” As part of this presentation, we will be looking at why philosophy is such a great companion and how it can help us navigate the aging process in ways that inspire enlightenment, relief, humor, growth, grace, empowerment, and deep satisfaction.
