Academic Lecture Coordination

Merlin MCCAcademic lecture coordination is a service aimed at facilitating the sharing of ideas & advancement of knowledge.  It involves several moving parts, including marketing, venue or speaker booking, fee negotiation, logistics and more.  Large-scale lecture coordination typically occurs by way of “speakers bureaus”– i.e., companies that facilitate a large variety of academic & non-academic speakers for clients.  Smaller-scale lecture coordination companies offer the same sort of thing but are generally smaller in scope relative to the number & kinds of speakers, audience and areas of expertise.  Our organization fits into this latter category.

The value of academic lecture coordination is tremendous.  Whether you are an academician or professional looking to share your thoughts or an institution or venue seeking an academic speaker,  lecture coordinators can help clear the path for success.  In addition to saving you time & increasing your opportunity for exposure, lecture coordinators can eliminate the frustration & logistical “tap dancing” involved with trying to locate, secure and manage speaking gigs.

Ideas are important.  As a speaker, you want to get them out there; as a venue/institution, you want to provide a platform for them to be shared.  A good academic lecture coordinator can help you stay the course & succeed.
