Philosophy Walk (Part 3 of 3 – Fall Series)

FreePlease join us on Sunday, November 12th from 10am-1pm for part 3 of a 3-part Fall Philosophy Walk series concerning environmental ethics, conservation, preservation, hunting & hunting ethics, governance/policy and community. This walk will be a continuation of our walk 1 & walk 2 conversations from September & October regarding environmental ethics, conservation/preservation, the history of conservation and hunting, hunting v. killing & the ethics of hunting, and conceptual & practical challenges…and focus specifically on governance/policy, process, challenges & concerns, and community involvement.
Guest Speaker/Co-Philosopher-on-Trail: Nick Gevock, M.A. (Conservation Director, Montana Wildlife Federation)
Location: Merlin Nature Preserve
Geared for adults, though teens/young adults are welcome. No background or training in philosophy is necessary to participate. Bring a sack lunch and/or snack. $10 suggested donation. Due to nature preserve logistics, registration and/or confirmation of attendance for our November Philosophy Walk is required.
