Philosophy Hayride-Walk for Kids (Halloween-Themed)
October 28, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm MDT
Free***OUR HALLOWEEN HAYRIDE-PHILOSOPHY WALK IS OFFICIALLY FULL***
Our free October Merlin Meandering will take place on Sunday, October 28th from 10:00am – 1:00pm on Merlin Nature Preserve. Wear your Halloween costumes & get ready for fun! This walk will be geared specifically for kids and will have a Halloween & philosophy-based theme.
- Inspired by philosopher Thomas Nagel’s famous “What Is It Like to Be a Bat?” (and Halloween, of course), this year we will be exploring the world through the eyes of four different creatures: a bat, a dinosaur, a bird, and an octopus! Special guest speaker/storyteller Martin Richard. Plus…a hayride, hot apple cider, baked goodies & more!
Bring a sack lunch and/or snack. Attendance by adults/parents/grandparents/siblings etc. is encouraged/welcome. $10 suggested donation. Due to nature preserve logistics, registration and/or confirmation of attendance for our October Little Philosopher’s Walk is required. Our group will meet in the Silver City Saloon parking lot & caravan via our hayride wagon to Merlin Nature Preserve. Space is limited. To learn more & reserve your spot(s) for this walk visit our philosophy walks page.
