4 American Perspectives on Islam: A Conversation

Sponsored by the Carroll College Philosophy Department and Merlin CCC, this evening program took place in the Sage Room of the Corrette Library at Carroll College.  Directed by philosopher Dr. Barry Ferst, who also served as the moderator, this symposium was an informal conversation about different understandings of the Islamic faith and Middle-East Islamic culture.

Philosophy-Based Life Enrichment & Wellness Program at Touchmark on Saddle Drive

In the Spring of 2017, we collaborated with Nanette Whitman-Holmes (Life Enrichment Director for Touchmark) andJustin Whitaker, Founder of Mindfulness Montana and Philosophical Consultant, to offer an 8-week philosophy & mindfulness meditation program for seniors, caregivers & staff at Touchmark on Saddle Drive. The program combined  aspects of philosophy and mindfulness meditation with the aim of inspiring critical, creative thought, imagination, humor, compassion, kindness, an improved sense of well-being, and community.
